This employee is responsible for the set-up and operation of the workstation and the equipment. The employee must also monitor the process and quality of the product and make necessary corrections to the process in order to maintain a steady flow of quality product to the customer.
Manual handling with placing cylinders in workstation.
May use grinder to remove excess weld marks.
May use hand held chipper to remove excess weld marks.
May use air gun to blow off excess moisture and debris.
May use impact gun to stamp codes into cylinders.
May place and remove fittings from the cylinders by following appropriate protocol.
Rejects defective parts, and marks defects accordingly.
Works at different work stations as production needs require.
Operation of lifting devices as needed.
Looks for opportunity to get involved in safety, environmental, process changes and overall improvement efforts.
Must have 1 year of manufacturing experience.
Must be avaiable to work overtime and Saturdays.
